A subseries of the Fate franchise focused on "Old Fate" - the original unfinished draft for Fate/Stay Night Kinko Nasu wrote as a high schooler. Said unfinished novel has no plans to be completed or adapted into any other medium any time soon, but an OVA showing the rough premise for it was released in 2011, a series of novels set in the same World called Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver was released in 2014 and the characters planned to feature in it have appeared in Fate/ Grand Order as "Prototype" versions of their final versions.
