Qian Qiu

Synopsis

Qian Qiu follows the story of Shen Qiao, the virtuous and gentle head of the Xuandu Mountain Sect, a powerful Taoist sect.After being severely injured and nearly killed by a rival, he loses his position and power. During his downfall, he is rescued by Yan Wushi, the calculating and ruthless leader of the demonic sect Huanyue. Yan Wushi sees an opportunity in Shen Qiao’s situation and initially views him as someone to manipulate for his own gain. Despite their opposing personalities—Shen Qiao being benevolent and morally upright, and Yan Wushi being pragmatic and power-hungry—the two develop a complex relationship over time. Shen Qiao embarks on a journey of recovery, both physically and spiritually, while trying to maintain his moral compass despite the dark, treacherous world around him.
